  We were treated with such a high level of dignity and compassion at Tharp Funeral Home after the loss of our baby. Everything was handled with the highest level of efficiency and attention to detail. I really appreciate the follow-up call we receive to check on us after our loss. I simply can't say enough about how wonderful this funeral home is and how well they take care of their customers.

  Tharp has the most caring and professional staff of any funeral home I've worked with during a family loss. My grandmother's passing was difficult and painful for our family, but we were supported every step of the way by each Tharp employee we came into contact with while saying our final goodbyes and I love you's to my nana. The compassion and empathy was evident even months after the memorial service, and I'm grateful for the way they blessed us throughout the process.

  This funeral home was by far the greatest and most professional. They went above and beyond for our family when multiple family members of mine had passed away. Always very helpful and encouraging to our family through a very difficult time. I can't say thank you enough to them for always making us feel comfortable through a very uncomfortable situation/time. I will always recommend Tharp Funeral Home.

  They were great to my sister when her son died. They took the time to go over everything with us & help to ease the pain. Great people

  I would not recommend this funeral home to anyone. The owner is untrustworthy and will lie to you. I went against my instincts and used them for my mother's funeral. She wasn't presentable until 2 hours before family night even though she had died 4 days earlier. They will never get any more of my family's business. There are other more affordable and easier to work with funeral homes in the Lynchburg, Bedford and Madison heights area.
